We didn't.
Promise.
We've just been running to the dry cleaners, library, returning movies at Red Box, doing laundry, getting ready for hubs to return from Washington, etc...
Oh... and I had a weak moment of realizing how much I was going to miss my girls next week as they spend time with Granny. So, of course, I promised them I would make them each a stuffed animal.
Realizing my ill-timed promise, I tried to offer a consolation prize. To me, the poorly shaped 'pillows' were only proof that I should stay far, far away from a sewing machine. They loved them, but wanted to know when their stuffed animals would be ready. A promise is a promise, right? I shall be burning the mid-night oil.
Now. For the reason you stopped by...
I wanted to make sure everyone who met the requirements for more than one entry in the giveaway got a fair shot, so using random.org was not going to work this time. I decided to dust off paper and pen and do things old school. I had 2 volunteers who were more than eager to help.
Although, I must say, they were puzzled as to why we were unable to enter the drawing, too. I mean, even an 8 and 10 year old can think of numerous ways to spend a $10 gift card at Target. ;)
Congratulations, Tori @ Yoder Yada-Yada! Please email your snail-mail and I'll get this $10.00 Target gift card to you asap.
Just for the record, I 'did' go back to HEB and look for another set of 'measuring devices', but there were none to be found. Hmmm... Hubs promises me that we did not buy them at Whole Foods. One of us is having a 'senior moment'. I'm not saying {it's him}. ;)
Of course, with little ones... or a gust of wind, there's always more than one take. And no worries, we found all of your names. Promise. See? Fair.

Thanks for playing along!
yea for Tori!!!! that was a much more fun way of doing it!!!
ReplyDeleteThe sewing machine and I also have a love hate relationship. I procrastinate until I end up working until the morning hours to get something finished, cursing myself for not just going out and buying something off the shelf! And then a few months later I start to get those thoughts again!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely blog!
I bet if you look really closely, you'll find my name on the porch somewhere! :D
