365/2011 - Week 16

a dance competition.
our last of the year.
i loved her duet costume.

sister waits patiently.
competition was hosted at a public school.
she can {now} say she's attended one. ;)

a week of girl movie nights.
mom even squeezed in a few.
purdy sunsets {or striped clouds} from our backyard.

including:  homemade tutus, a frame, fans, and painted numbers.
interesting, yes?

no school on photo day. 
well, except math.  
mom is not beyond bribes.
parks are picture-friendly while public school is in session.
amen.

nator's first piano recital.
proud parents.

  4. We are thinking of doing a photo shoot too, down at the beach. I wonder what my girls will come up with if I gave them full creative freedom??? Hmmm.....the possibilities.

  12. Love this post- my kids start the mornings that way too :) I love that idea that since the dancing happens at the public school then they have attended- all of our big dance & scouting events happen at the schools here too- so I suppose I could say the same.

    Loving the tutus by the way! Great job mom!!

    Dance and piano and pictures all in one week, how do you keep up? Oh wait, I sometimes live that life too, I know you how you keep up!

  17. ahhh yes, the tutus are homemade! should get caught up from older post to newer posts! great job! love them. Maybe i can bribe my older girls into a photo shoot like this. they think they're itchy :D (made some last year for christmas program)
