That's so Random {and a winner!}

I'm linking up with Linda again for a random dozen.
{She really loves chickens!  Who knew??}
Feel free to join in the fun!

1. How do you feel about the marshmallow Easter Peeps?
I think they're so cutsie-wootsie {that's a word, yes?}, but never buy them.  It's nothing personal.  I just don't like the swelling that happens around the mid-section when eating pure sugar.  ;)

2. Chickens are notoriously nervous creatures. When you are nervous, what is the best way to calm down?
Deep breaths and a lil' talk with myself.  What?  You don't talk to yourself?  Completely normal. :)

3. People say, "April showers bring May flowers." Do you enjoy Spring rains?
I love a good rainy day... any time I get to stay indoors. ;)

4. When I was randomly flipping through TV channels this week, I saw a show in which tattoo parlor employees received tattoos of a co-worker's face on their bodies. I can't imagine having a portrait of a colleague tattooed on me. But if someone forced you to receive a portrait tattoo (face only) of anyone, who would it be? Why?
Nothing like a good tattoo question for Easter, eh? :)   Um, I just can't imagine having any person's face tattooed on my person.  Ewe. Sorry.  I just can't go there.  If forced, I might be able to do a version of say... a butterfly?  But then again, maybe not.

5. Would you rather have a tattoo (any kind) or a nose ring?
Let me rephrase... There's nothing like a good tattoo-piercing question for Easter.  Ha!  Although not permanent, the idea of a nose ring sounds too painful.

6. Do you have any special plans for Easter?
I'm sure it involves lil' girls and eggs. ;)

7. Cadbury Eggs or Reese Eggs?
Although I haven't had one in years, chocolate and peanut butter.  Need I say more?  {Funny that I don't seem to mind any swelling that may occur with eating chocolate, huh?  But then again, it's dark chocolate.  Healthy, yes?  How do you like my logic?}

8. What was the last thing/person you took a picture of?
It had something to do with someone at the airport. :(

9. What book are you reading now, or what was the last one?
 The Misunderstood God is great food for thought.

10. What do you think is the most difficult task when it comes to Spring cleaning?
 Well, you said it.  The 'cleaning'.   I would have to say... just. getting. started.  and {re}organizing.

11. How many pairs of flip-flops do you own?
A couple.  I see shopping in my future??

12. Which color makes you happiest?
I can {almost} never pick one favorite of anything.  I love greens, pinks... and yellow for some things.  I painted the girl's restroom yellow in hopes of world peace when sharing that space.  I think it's hard to be unhappy long around that color.  I try.  ;)

AND now the moment we've all been waiting for!
Speaking of not picking a favorite, I'm glad that Random.org is picking the winner of this much awaited giveaway!  I love celebrating with the winner, but always feel bad not having a prize for everyone.  :(  So, having said that, let me just say that I appreciate each of you!  I've enjoyed making new bloggy friends this past year and look forward to getting to know my new followers.
I'm off to pick the winner now....  Wishing you luck!!

And its.... {insert drum roll}

# 25!
How ironic that Jackie should win my blog-o-versary giveaway.  She has been a wonderful bloggy friend from the very beginning.  In the time that I've enjoyed getting to know her, she started her own blog design business.  I have her to thank for mine as well. ;)  She's wonderful to work with.  Congratulations, girl!!

  1. Congrats to Jackie for wining your giveaway.

    I'm so with you on the tattoo/ piercing questions. Seriously?! Who does that anyway. Oh wait. LOTS of people are doing it. Not me. Thank you very much.

    Easter Blessings, SusanD

    And I'm with you all the way on the chocolate and peanut butter. I can't have those in the house. :)

  3. How you've managed to avoid Reese Eggs for years baffles me. Please share your secret. Is it mere willpower? That's highly overrated. :)

    I'm really enjoying these little peeks into your life. :)

  4. Yay! I am so happy that Jackie won! She deserves it and is one talented lady!

    Chocolate anything for Easter is my downfall!

  5. Chocolate calories don't count if it's during a holiday, right?
    Congrats to Jackie for winning!

  7. Little Girls and Easter Eggs sounds like a marvelous way to spend Easter!! I have the same idea about sugar vs. chocolate. I will turn down a bag of Skittles for the "waist line" reason, but a bag of M&M's that is a WHOLE other situation!!

    Have a great week!
