what happens in the mom taxi, stays in the mom taxi

After a day of school {hello history and science. we've missed you.}, and an evening of errands, we looked like this...

Jasmine was the first to hit the hay... on her new bed.  Of course, I needed to buy her something more posh to go with the master bedroom makeover I'm finally allowing myself.  ha.  I think it's safe to say, she likes it.

Gracie started dreamland within seconds of Jasmine.  She usually sneaks off to bed, this one.  Is there anything sweeter than a little one drifting off to sleep with one of their dolls?  I had to braid Julie's hair, just. like. Gracie's.  You know, so it wouldn't tangle while she slept.

Let me just soak up that moment.

Nator.  I could just eat her sweetness for dessert.  I ended up sneaking her into bed with me since she was still awake at tuck-in-time.  Dad is still in Washington.  Tomorrow will be Gracie's turn, I'm sure.  She wears a mask at night, which comes in handy... say, if your mom is posting on the ol' blog really late and there's a glow coming from her computer. ;)
