It's Fall Ya'll

We decided to join some friends {youth pastors that worked with us when we pastored} at a nearby church's pumpkin patch.

It was a small one, but there was no shortage of pumpkins.

As you can see, our youngest and their oldest are friends.  They've been friends since they were babies.  My how time flies.  Another fall is upon us.

Things I love about fall:

The crispness in the air.
Outdoor walks.
Mums.
Bonfires and guitar playing {with less mosquitoes}.
Rich colors.

Snuggling under a blanket.
School breaks.
More time with family.
Hot apple desserts.
Comfort food.
{Hold me back!  I must tell myself...
"I would like to still fit into my jeans come spring."
Repeat this over and over.}

Holding {and drinking} hot tea.
Burning yummy candles.
TV specials that only come this time of year {for the kids, of course}. ;)

Dusting off the Christmas music and decorations.

And so much more...

What are your faves?

  1. such great pictures!!!

There are a few things I "normally" enjoy, but due to all the rain we are having have not been able to:

    fire pits, s'mores
    driving, enjoying the leaves changing
    evening walks
sitting on the patio with friends

and then some that I have:

    great coffee
curling up with a good book
    hot yummy meals
    anything pumkin!!!

  5. My favorite things, cool air making you feel energetic; the scents of baking, planning for the holidays, fires, motorcycle rides in the afternoon with my sweetie, or should I say my Babe! Deena
