Time for my passport again

The girls were so excited to see their Granny, Uncle B & Aunt D.

This will be the scene on the way home too.
Headphones. Smiles. Cuddles with Jasmine.

This has been the big project this week.
My bedroom.
It's not finished, but I will show you this.

I love vinyl letters...
and if you look really (really) close, you might be able to see the
light blue color I painted.

I never scratched the surface of the garage sale pile, but I found things to add to it. This is the result of the closet clean-out alone. Yikes.

I painted frames to add the girls' artwork from 2 yrs ago.
I learned that "cracked pepper" is not a true black color.
Must re-do. Ugh.
Mental note: Never paint outside
in the middle of the day... in a high-southern-heat index.

Some piles I didn't touch.
It made me feel like my girls were still around this week.
We are headed 'down the bayou' to get them.
I should get my passport. ;)

  1. I really like those letters/words on your wall. Where did you get them?

  2. Love the lettering in your room. We have some in our room and bathroom. I just LOVE it!

  3. Thanks. :) I bought this phrase at Kohls on clearance for $6. Gotta love that. I bought a second one for when I re-do the loft for the girls. I've seen some at Target too for $15. I

  4. I am a sucker for the vinyl lettering...

You might have the most photogenic dog I have ever seen. I can't ever get mine to stand still!

  5. I can't wait to see the whole room. I love those letters.

  6. I love vinyl lettering too! I found a sight where I could get the words I wanted, so I have scripture in several places in my it!

I always enjoy reading what you have to say... It makes my day! ;)
