Move over Kara Dioguardi...

It seems we have a songwriter in the making at our house. Gracie has desired to learn the guitar for many months now. She especially drools at the sight of a pink guitar. I need to sign her up for lessons somewhere or schedule dad on the calendar since he's pretty awesome at it.

Oh... and don't judge the spelling too harshly.
She was a bit self-conscience about it.
It's all a work in progress... aren't we all?

This was her 7th song...

  2. Kara has NOTHIN' on this talented one! I love that she let you video her singing. I think getting her a pink guiter and scheduling lessons with Teacher Dad is a GREAT idea. :)

  3. How cute! You should jump on lessons now while she is inspired!

Did you see my homeschool blog today? It's about spelling. I personally am under the belief that you start to formally teach it in 6th grade. The spelling program that I reviewed looks fun!

  4. Oh my, she is too cute! I loved watching the video and I think she should have guitar lessons for sure. She is definitely a budding star! I know you must be very proud!

As for your comment on my blog....yes I've heard of digestive enzymes and in fact have taken them from Natures Sunshine, but I've never heard of the brand you mentioned. I'm wondering if yours have different ingredients. I didn't know that they would help with acid reflux...i thought they only help with digestion. I will have to research this for sure. My chiropractor told me recently that I should take Probiotics. So why do you take digestive enzymes, if you don't mind me asking? The brand of supplements my chiropractor sells is called Biotics research corporation.

  7. That really moved me!!! It was just so sweet. I hope my boys look at me that way one day and write songs about it...and I loved the punching at the end. She's just GREAT, that girl of yours.
