Project 365 - Week 31

I'm a lil' late to the linky-party, fashionably, of course. ;)

Here are a few highlights from our week...

We painted more pottery and picked up last week's treasures...
Gracie's butterfly, a 'Dance' plaque I painted {to be hung with a cute ribbon in Gracie's room}, and Nator's mug for her "#1 Daddy".

I had to give Nator a week to think about what she wanted Mama to paint her.  Big, important decisions are hard sometimes.

Lots of Lego building.  Who knew?  With girls, I thought we'd only have Polly Pockets to contend with.  Now that I think of it, I haven't vacuumed a Polly wig in a while.

Eating at Panera.

{Window} Shopping...  Gracie loves the Paul Frank monkey.

Webkinz.
According to an 8 and 10 year old, it isn't possible to have too many.

I'm sure DK is glad he wasn't working this weekend.  You know... so he could grocery shop with us.   Try not to be jealous of our exciting life.

Well, okay... Just don't be jealous of us meeting friends at the Cheesecake Factory again.  Mmmm!

Mostly, you could find the girls at the dance studio this week...  stretching, and performing mini {end-of-summer} recitals.

Gracie got a taste of hip-hop.  As you can tell, she didn't like it one bit. {I know... We've already signed her up for the fall.}  I think she may have enjoyed being the oldest in the class... just a lil'.

Look at those fast feet!  See how in sync they are with their teacher?

We don't enjoy tap class either.

Nor ballet.

Nor jazz.

But we especially don't like sprains while practicing leaps at home. {Seriously} Poor Nator had to sit on the sidelines for the jazz recital.  She handled it like a champ, but she wasn't about to be left out of the group pic.  Good for her. :)

And Gracie will tell you that she doesn't like being stuck in a split when playing freeze-dance, or when taking pictures... but that face says it all.

Gracie once told me recently that she loves attention.  She wants to marry it.  You can start praying for us... about now.  Thank you.

  1. Yes, for our little GIRL's 5th birthday this coming Saturday, we bought her dollhouse accessories and a package of Hot Wheels and a helicopter. They will go in her homemade PINK Hot Wheels box with car stickers on it. I don't know what to make of her.

  3. I was wondering where you were. :) I look forward to seeing what you're doing each week. Sassy likes the legos also. She has to sneak and steal a few from Little Man quite often, to which he is NOT happy about. :)

  8. LOL!! Yes, you are gonna NEED that prayer, girl. Soooo funny.

Love all the dance pictures this week.

Oh, and it's true about the Webkinz. It must be. Because it's what I've heard here in Arkansas, too! :)
(Here's something funny for you. One of my best friends--age 35--owns several Webkinz HERSELF. Why, you ask? Because SHE likes to play the games!!)
