Love Deposits

Fancy nights like this don't happen often around our house, so when they do... well, of course you have to blog about them. I told hubby that we needed a date night. I missed him... Remember Alaska? He'll be headed to Chicago soon.

So, he took it upon himself to make reservations at Perry's Steakhouse AND make the arrangements for a babysitter (big brownie points there). You did good honey!

My salmon (on a bed of warm spinach) looks yummy, no? :)

We went to Perry's for our 10 yr anniversary over 6 1/2 yrs ago. It's one of those restaurants where there's a live band of instrumental music and the waiters 'sweep' the bread crumbs off of your table between courses. Mama is not used to this kind of service. Seriously. I'm still waiting on the cleaning fairy to help with laundry, garbage, dishes... etc...

Next, I really wanted to listen to some Jazz music... at Sambuca's. Since we had already eaten, (and as to NOT offend the waiter of our table) we ordered a dessert. GASP! I know, but we shared it. I figured I better not linger on how many calories or Weight Watcher points this was when DK said, "I am not having dinner with Jillian Michaels tonight."

Ok, I'll just enjoy the brownie (minus the points) & the music. :)
The band & singers were awesome. They did everything from classic Jazz tunes to Kiss by Prince. Seriously... if only I had a range like that!

We already have plans to go back with friends. They actually know people in the band. It should be fun.

  6. H-Mama, I have the button for Phase 4 in my sidebar now, if you'd like to use it. No pressure, though, because I don't like it when other bloggers tell me I must post their button to participate in things. Just FYIin' ya.
